I'm not posting a link, but it's in a thread about Obama closing "terrorist black sites". It's an article about ending interrogation sites overseas, and to say freepers are up in arms about it, is a literal description.

Impeach is mentioned only by the more compassionate among them. Why do conservatives get so frantic about ending blood lettings and anguish? Do they get wood vicariously through the sufferings of others?

Yes,I know what you meant.

I just feel very uncomfortable about him having his whole family in the W.H. I don’t know why. One of those awful premonitions I get now and then.

Maybe I’m remembering “Camelot”—the golden couple, their beautiful kids, everything perfect—and then the awful tragedy.

Guess I’ve seen too many Greek tragedies happen in too many lives. (I am very old, and have seen a lot.)
