are motivated by self-interest (i.e. ratings) and he's clearly capable of saying something so moronic and insulting that people will pay attention to it - and him. He's perfectly aware of the mantra that even negative press is bad press.

The worst thing we could do would be to ignore him, but I don't think that will happen. I was going to say "because he's irrelevant" but that isn't exactly correct. He's destructive. And he knows it, but it keeps his ratings and profits coming in quite nicely.

This is job security for him. What a low-life.
