Idea for catchphrase summing up the failed Bush effort in Iraq

In answer to Joshua Micah Marshall's challenge to come up with a succinct catch-phrase that sums up Kerry's case against Bush's conduct of the Iraq War, here's my attempt:

Show clip after clip of post-explosion scenes in the Iraq street, and marching protesters and young Iraqi boys looking angry. Have the voice-over say, "Should it ever have come to this?"
