3. I really liked it.
If I had to nitpick about something, I'd say I wasn't as crazy about the gloves.

And I would have loved to have seen the dress without the jacket. It looked like it had some beautiful detailing at the bust; some sort of pintucked chiffon going on.

4. I agree it was wonderful, but damn, the guys were wearing top coats!
I believe Jill had a coat on, and Michelle just had a brocade coat that didn't close! Thaat's not a criticism of her, but I was worried about her FREEZING!

33. You must have missed the Kerry campaign
or the Edwards campaign or the Kucinich campaign or the Gore campaign or any number of campaigns where men are judged by what they look like and what they wear. At least, Democratic men are.

8. i liked it, I also assume she did not want it to be the same color as her gown
that she will be wearing to the balls tonight.

Gold is classic. and classy

I hope she wears something STUNNING tonight. Bright Red with a low neck line

(sorry for my typical male reaction but she is a very attractive woman)

I love the flowered design, bright and cheery. Very unexpected for an inaugural dress.

I'm guessing the coat had some insulation built in b/c it looked a LITTLE bulkier than you would expect for a simple long jacket and she obviously would need some protection from the chill.

Can't wait to see her dress tonight!

23. I wasn't too keen on this one at all. I was disappointed.
It was way too heavy and too old for her. It looked like something Nancy Reagan would wear to be honest.

24. Didn't like it, but it's her choice!
I personally didn't like the outfit, but it's her day...her choice.

I've not been really blown over by many of her outfits, but her beauty exudes the cloth on her body. She appears confident and comfortable and in control.

Point is - as long as SHE likes it, that's what matters.

In person it is probably lovely.

29. The dress was okay, but I hated the gloves.
I thought the dress was a light green because of the way it showed on tv, then I saw an article that described it as gold, and the next time I saw it on tv I decided I did like the color and style of the dress. But the olive gloves detracted considerably, I think.

30. It was inappropriate for a daytime dress.
She has a great figure, and looks good in her clothes, but this was a bad choice.
