So what do you think Bush's note says to Obama?
WASHINGTON – Continuing a White House ritual, President George W. Bush left a note in the Oval Office for President-elect Barack Obama, wishing him well as he takes the reins of the executive branch.

The White House on Tuesday declined to provide intimate details of the message the two-term Republican left for the incoming Democrat, saying only that Bush wrote it on Monday and left it in the top drawer of his desk.

"The theme is similar to what he's said since election night about the fabulous new chapter President-elect Obama is about to start, and that he wishes him the very best," White House press secretary Dana Perino said Tuesday.

26. Dear Obama:

Your pal georgie here. Just wanted to wish you luck. You're gonna LOVE this job!

It's so much fun. You can drink as much as you want even right when you wake up if you want to! You get to play dress-up a lot and play cowboys and indians and stuff. I played the cowboy heh heh. You also get to be on the tv tube alot. It's great! These people with cameras and pens and paper are always following you around and they just can't get enough of you! They laugh a lot at you too so it makes you feel really good and you can tell they love you because sometimes they'll replay the things you say over and over again!

There are also lots of play dates to go on and they're always fun. A lot of times your play date will dress in really cool costumes and talk with really funny sounds. I like the one who wears the really long robes and kisses me on the cheek. He's so silly!

And even when playtime's over you still don't have to do anything. There's some old guy who makes all the decisions for you and deals with all the adults. If you're good though he'll let you use a pen to sign stuff sometimes! Yeah, pen! (though not in your room. In your room you're only allowed crayons)

Know what one of the coolest things is? When you're President you become God's best friend. He'll talk to you all the time too! You'll be on some stage answerin questions and BOOM! There's God talkin in your ear. Or you'll be on one of your play dates and you'll have to talk and stuff, and BOOM! There's God right in your ear telling you exactly what to say. And he's really cool too and has these cool gadgets and stuff. Like the God box... It attaches onto your back and though it gets a little itchy (like a tag on a shirt), it's got batteries so it's a lot of fun!

I'm tellin ya, you'll love this job. Everyone adores you and follows you everywhere. Every where I go people line up in the streets and chant my name and stuff, and they're always holding up their fingers telling me I'm number one. Sometimes they'll even do it with both hands, as if chanting "You're number 1! You're number 1!" heh heh. They draw pictures too! Lots and lots of pictures and words and paint and stuff. It's like a constant arts and crafts display! I love looking at all the pretty pictures. I wanted to paint some too and carry them with me but that old guy said no :(

Sometimes the people love you so much they'll even sleep outside your house just hoping to get a play date with you! There was this one girl Cindy who wanted a play date really badly. She stayed up so late and slept outside for so long, but that old guy just kept saying no to the play date. I don't know why, she seemed like a lot of fun and really seemed to like me. But that old guy can be cranky so watch out for him. If you're bad he'll lock you in your room and give you a time out, and he'll even take your crayons away!

And don't forget the free gifts! People will just give you stuff and it's so nice of them. Just the other day I was playing dress up with some guy in Iraq and someone there liked me so much they gave me a new pair of shoes! Isn't that great? He was a nice fella.

Well, I gotta go clean my room now, so have fun!

Oh, P.S. You made me laugh the other day the way you said "nookleeurr". It's pronounced "nookyouler" silly goose!

It's hard work. Make lots of good desisions like I did.
