I thought that this was an exclusivity to HBO, who did not film Robinson, as far as we know. There's only an amateur clip of him on stage on You Tube, and you can't even see him in it.

As for being able to actually hear Robinson, we have witnesses here on DU who were there who have testified that they could not hear his prayer, nor the sound on videos preceding him. So it is safe to assume that some of the speakers out in that vast crowd of half a million were not working, although the microphone itself might not have been the problem. A lot of people did not hear him. The people who tuned into the radio or TV to see the show did not see or hear him.

I take the "microphone not working" of the poll as a metaphor for the blackout of Robinson on the broadcast.

Personally, I was happily undecided between Clinton and Obama during the primaries. I was one of the "I have issues with both of them, but they're both WAY better than McCain" folks. But I also remember that you and bi_baby were both very vocal Obama supporters, if my memory serves me.

For any of us to be reduced to bitter, can't get over it Clinton supporters is insulting. But I guess it's easy for some to make themselves believe that because it meshes well with their "Obama hater" fantasies.
