why is David Gregory asking such asinine questions?
Edited on Sun Jan-18-09 10:16 AM by shireen
regarding stimulus, job creation for 3+ million:
Why fund college education?
Isn't this a social program?

:wtf:

David,
why are you so short-sighted?
do you expect prosperity to be created out of thin air?
how else do we stay competitive with other countries?

For someone at the helm of Meet the Press, those are such painfully STUPID questions.

Rove is going away and he's miffed.

Gregory is *the* asshat that will continue to ignore reality. He is the poster-child for Beltway asshats.

3. Gregory is an ignoramus
Because he knows nothing about history and has no cognizance or concern for the future, he thinks the standard to measure everything by is Reaganism. To him that's the "norm" anything else is suspect.

He has utterly failed to notice the ruination the end line of full blown "Reaganism" has wrought.

4. The ultimate Tax Cut Irony: For months, GOPers SCREAMED that "Obama will RAISE taxes", despite
Obama clearly stating his plan would lower taxes for middle class. Now they're acting like he's adopted a GOP Tax Plan and some are saying its going to HURT the economy. Barely listening, but I think Gregory mentioned something to Rahm about this.

I don't get it.

9. I am liking the way Rahm is handling him though. I was happy that when DG brought up the Bush tax
cuts Rahm's response was that it didn't help the middle class who have worked harder and recived less.

Now that he's got a lifetime gig, I am guessing it's just because he's a Republican whore.

30. Gregory, like Russert before him, simply ask the same question to several people
so that the public gets the opinion that the DC crowd has already decided will be.

Politics to them (voting/legislation) is nothing but filler to occupy the masses.

especially about a show that maybe half-million people out of 300 million people in this country ever watch on Sunday mornings when most people are sleeping in or doing something they care about.
