$3 Trillion Price Tag Left Out As Bush Details His Agenda
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story2&u=washpost/a18876_2004sep13
The expansive agenda President Bush (news - web sites) laid out at the Republican National Convention was missing a price tag, but administration figures show the total is likely to be well in excess of $3 trillion over a decade.

A staple of Bush's stump speech is his claim that his Democratic challenger, John F. Kerry, has proposed $2 trillion in long-term spending, a figure the Massachusetts senator's campaign calls exaggerated. But the cost of the new tax breaks and spending outlined by Bush at the GOP convention far eclipses that of the Kerry plan.

6. Definitely! Bush is NOT a fiscal conservative.
True fiscal conservatives would not vote Bush this year.

3. Didn't Cheney say, just yesterday
That spending $1.5 trillion on Health Care would break the bank? What does double that figure do?

4. Yeah, they're total hypocrites
Bush always slams Kerry for his programs saying they are expensive and how are we going to pay for it blah blah blah.

Meanwhile, Bush's plans are MORE expensive than Kerry's and while Kerry has outlined how he will pay for it Bush has not. MEME: Bush DISHONEST about his programs.
