I have an extra Inauguration ticket
Actually don't have it yet, will on the 19th. Anyway I am torn. I am way over on the west coast and airfare is so costly, and hotels are crazy CRAZY high. We don't have a lot of money (zero) so we are going to have to go into debt to make this trip, which we will do, we must. Cannot miss this historic event. We were strong volunteer supporters and gave $$$ as much as we could. I am considering trading this ticket for our airfare or accommodations, maybe someone has miles they don't need. I don't plan to try and make huge $$$ on this ticket. Just torn on the ethics of my plan. Any opinions?

2. I thought that was illegal
How much time can you spend in DC? How many would like to go? Give me as flexible of dates as you possibly can and I'll poke around.

7. Good
I was just thinking that they had passed that federal law against selling the tickets, maybe they didn't. Anyway, I just wanted to be sure that they couldn't interpret a trade as selling outright. I certainly don't think there's anything wrong in offering a ticket for some help in going.

6. If you have an extra ticket you can stay on my couch
Or even in my bed and I will sleep on the couch! I would totally love to go if you have an extra ticket...I was actually thinking about seeing if anyone had a ticket in exchange for a place to stay. PM me if you are interested. I live in Arlington a few metro stops from downtown.
