If Rick Warren had equated Democrats with pedophiles. Or said that the typical marriage of most Democrats is similar to beastiality. Or that Democrats shouldn't be allowed to marry or adopt children.

And then imagine Obama, after reading these comments, asking Warren to speak at a Democratic Inaugural. The outrage here would be massive. The place would erupt.

But Warren says these things about the gay community so all is well. In fact, we're hysterical little sissies and whiners if we complain. We can't even object to the timing, so soon after Prop 8 when sensitivities are raw and the hurt and rage still new. Hey, we get to be in the parade! Being part of the entertainment - a field in which we excel - will make it all better. And having a few gay people here to bow and scrape and tell everyone that we're just non-adult little faggots and angry militant dykes is sweet - we love those guys! We rec them to death, our own little subservient "please kick me again" tokens of gay sensibility.

1. Kind of a false analogy there

It's not that Rick Warren is against gays. Nor is it like Obama is taking part in a gay inauguration.

Rick Warren is against Americans who happen to be gay and was a leader in the movement to take away the already established, codified civil rights of Americans with respect to marriage. His offense isn't anti-gayness; his offense is being anti-civil rights.

the word Jew. It goes without saying that Warren would never darken the halls of the White House.
