I think Obama has set a very low thresh hold on expecting resignation from other Democratic

politicians and this expectation will not serve him well, in the long run.

In the short term, Obama got distance from Blagojevich and maybe some public relations points for being seen as a clean politician who will not accept any corruption, but in the long term. this will hurt him and here is why I think this.

Obama has set up an expectation and has set a precedence. The precedence that was set here is that on a mere charge or alligation, given enough hysteria and coverage by our glorious 24/7 msm, Obama is going to expect you to resign. And if Obama does not ask it, then the msm and the Republicans are going to be all over his ass, asking why not.
That will become the story.

I do not think that this is a good place for a POTUS to be in.
