Today is a slap in the face to all of them. Warren and his Saddleback cult were behind so many of the falsehoods about Prop 8 here in CA. They were the ones saying that Gay Marriage would be taught and advocated in public schools. Lots of people spent hours of their life and money on Obama in the CA Primary, and then hard on No on Prop 8 during the GE (b/c CA was a safe state). It just sucks Obama is giving platform and credibility to someone who believes in such backward things.

I think it is fine to get a reasonable Conservative Preacher but Warren is the extreme far right fringe, he should not have been picked. I am hoping their is some strategy behind this choice.

4. Not to mention, they capitalized on Obama's mixed message

of being opposed to Prop 8, but also being opposed to same sex marriage.

The Saddleback cultists were able to use that mixed message to trick uninformed Democrats/Obama voters.

Obama could say he opposed Prop 8 until he was blue in the face, but they could always turn it around and say he holds the same view on marriage as right wing fundamentalist Christian conservatives.

And that's what they did .. along with all the lies about teaching homosexuality in school.

They are despicable human beings.
