Is anyone watching the Chris Matthews show right now?????
Um, I don't normally watch this stuff, but I woke up and Mr. Moonbeam had it on. He has Norah Campbell, Cokie Roberts, Clarence Page and some other woman I can't think of.

The ENTIRE show thus far has been how much Kerry is SUNK. They even used a sinking ship analogy and Tweety talked about "shuffling the deck chairs" (a reference to the Titanic).

It absolutely BLOWS me away how they are talking about the Kerry campaign--if I were in the bush campaign and stupid about things, I'd say go ahead and order the victory celebration right now, Kerry is TOAST.

Cokie Roberts even said among independent voters, he is ten percentange points ahead of bush, then backhanded it by saying, "now whether he actually DOES anything with that remains to be seen."

WHAT THE F*** IS THIS SHIT???

I kept waiting for the segment on "why bush is losing," but no...next was how Kerry's raising the taxes on the rich is going to "really sink his ship."

Mr. Moonbeam had to turn it off. I was yelling.

THIS is the shit they pass off as news programs???? A bunch of people, presumably news "professionals," who can't even hide the fact that they have a hard-on for bush???

..that half-wit beyotch has been performing Repig fallatio since I can remember. The ONLY GOOD thing about any show that includes her commentary and sneering - is turning it OFF.

4. even Howard Fineman today said Bush's poll numbers dropped this wk
Fineman thinks the AWOL story breaking hurt Bush's poll numbers this week.

I have been disgusted for weeks over Matthews Sunday morning program where all they do is talk negatively about Kerry and talk about how well Bush's campaign is going, and fail to get to the heart of the issues.

8. In FACT
Matthews said something that made my BLOOD boil, and I hope every single family member of a fallen servicemember in Iraq heard it: he said "Iraq isn't even in people's compass anymore..."

First of all you mean RADAR, you twit!

Secondly, nice, very nice. We've STILL got servicemembers DYING every day there and you've got the attitude that it's back page news and furthermore, who cares?

Classy.

And is this where people are getting this idea that the war is OVER? I have heard several times in the last few days bush supporters asserting the war is over. When they say that, I strongly suggest they get their asses over there and tell the guys still getting SHOT AT that the war is over.

It'll come as news to them.

Bastards.

6. That's been the entire theme of the Washington Post, too.
They ran several prominently placed articles the other day declaring that Bob Shrum was a losing campaigner and that Kerry had fallen behind.

And even our supposed allies are talking Kerry down. I have a co-worker who is supposedly progressive but keeps telling me that Bush will maintain his lead.

I have a book called "The Experts Speak" and recommend it to others. It's full of examples of grand pronouncements by pundits, historians, critics, et al -- and the lot of the pronouncents turned out to be horse manure.

7. I listened to it as I'm lying in bed trying to get rid of a headache
and couldn't stand to watch their smarmy faces anyway. BAD move. I have never in my life heard such a blatently smarmy lying, biased, sack of shit--worse even then FAUX. TV off. This is friggin ridiculous.

My big question: is this media blitz an intentional effort to demoralize Dems and swing voters? I really have to wonder if it crosses beyond just media whoredom into an orchestrated campaign directed by Rove et al.

Take deep breaths folks. We are in this for the long haul and it isn't going to get any easier. The nail gets driven, even with many many repeated short hammer blows. We don't always get that massive forceful drive from a single blow... Keep up the effort.

9. Well it's bullshit no matter what it is
I seriously couldn't believe the way they were talking. Positively GIDDY, as if we'd already had the election and bush had won.

Damn, I should have Tivoed that and then replayed it after Nov. 2, when Kerry wins.

That would have been fun. I'm going to email every one of those bastards.

15. Of Course It is a Rove-Orchestrated Campaign
It has been all along. How could it be anything else,
given how quickly each batch of Repub talking points
finds its way to the network "news"-casts.

Just figure Boosh's real advertising budget is closer to
75 BILLION than the 75 million the FEC gives each candidate.

It will get more and more blatant every day until Nov 2nd.
Our best hope may be that they overdo it, and people get so
sick of the Boosh propaganda that they turn on him.

12. This should only motivate us to get out the vote!
Let these Republican stooges rant all they want. Come election day, no Democrat worthy of the name will stay at home. We all need to volunteer to get people without transportation to the polls, and/or assist them to get absentee ballots. There has never been a presidential election in my lifetime (and I'm 68) more important to the direction that our country is going to take in coming years. If America is to remain free and not become a totalitarian state, we absolutely MUST elect Kerry/Edwards!

16. Tweety is a colossal maggot
The Right Wing piled on him after his confrontation with Zell Miller, so he's trying to make nice with them now by attacking Kerry.

His is a worthless, spineless piece of garbage and I never want to see another, "Tweety is with us today" post on this board.

MediaWhoresOnline.Com pegged this guy years ago. He is in it only for himself.

and he folded, plain and simple. They threatned to cut his access to prominent Republican guests and he believed them. Rove has Tweety's balls in a mason jar buried out in the Rose Garden.

20. DO NOT WATCH TWEETY.
It's bad for your blood pressure. And take comfort in the fact that his market share is pretty small. On a nice fall Sunday afternoon everybody's outside or watching football, unless you're in Florida, where there are more serious things to think about. Tweety and the other whores and pimps do their little circle-jerks among themselves and we shouldn't give them the satisfaction of watching them - or even complaining to them, because then they would know we are watching. Turn off the TV and do something for the campaign.

And we remember how accurately Tweety and those other cretins predicted the outcome of the primaries, don't we?
