Hillary's Response the Cutout Poutrage
Jon Favreau has, apparently, "reached out to Sen. Clinton to offer an apology." No surprise there, but according to The Post, it doesn't seem like that was even necessary.

A Clinton spokesman described the photo as an example of just good-natured fun between former rival camps. The Post quotes Sen. Clinton's adviser Philippe Reines as saying, quote, "Sen. Clinton is pleased to learn of Jon's obvious interest in the State Department, and is currently reviewing his application."

No harm, no foul -- apparently.

2. That comment was a joke.
Favreau was Obama's speechwriter during the campaign and was recently hired as Obama's Chief Speechwriter.

The phony outrage is trying to make an issue out of a complete non-issue.

4. Why would some want to be so outraged? There is no election going on.
Sen. Clinton also works for Pres. Elect Obama.

It wouldn't seem like she'd want to get rid of someone that is valuable to the success of the Obama Presidency, as she is part of that administration.

What purpose would the phony outrage serve? I don't get it.

so I can understand their problem and their agenda.

I don't understand the agenda in those soooo upset who are supposed to be on our side, especially since Hillary Clinton isn't upset, and considering that Favreau is a valuable member of the Obama administration. Why would anyone who supports Democrats want to make a bigger deal out of this than Hillary Clinton has? It doesn't make any sense to me.

And of course there's a lot of PUMA types pushing this story as hard as they can, simply because they hate Obama.

25. It's a thinly veiled attempt by some here to make everything about Hillary
She's more of a mensch than many of her outraged "supporters". Now that she will be SOS and the controversy about that issue has died down, they want to drum up something to keep her on everyone's lips and to keep fighting everybody else over trivialities.
They need to get some sort of life.

It's the kind of predictable classy response that someone as intelligent as her would come up with in a goofy situation like this.

But rest assured, Hillary will have that asshole's resume filed away in back of her brain for future safe keeping. She won't be doing him any political favors down the road. Quite the contrary. The Clintons never forget :smoke:
