| Just caught newly elected senator Mark Begich on MSNBC |
|
and he was totally impressive. Very affable, articulate and completely knowledgeable on any subject they asked him. I thinks he's going to be a real asset to the senate.
He was especially impressive when mika and joe grilled him all about palin. joe blows asked him if palin was a big a "buffoon" (his exact word) as the media tried to make her out to be and his replies were very diplomatic and gracious. When pushed for more info on palin, he offered up some lukewarm praise with a couple of anecdotes from when they worked together on a couple of projects, but stopped short of giving her any kind of glowing endorsement as governor. He smiled politely during the entire interview and joe and mika seemed as impressed and won over by him as I'm sure anybody that watched the interview had to be as well.

| 1. I liked him as well, but I thought he did go a bit far in praising Palin, |
|
as when he said "she grasps the problem and gets things done", he said that a couple of times. I can just see Fox News running this clip over and over, and Palin herself using it for a future commecial.
Just sayin'.
