Kerry needs to show he's PISSED!
IDEA:

Senator John Kerry needs to demonstrate his alpha maleness to the average Murkin voting male. It seems most guys have no clue about who Kerry is or what he's done, other than what he's heard on TV:

"The guy went to Vietnam. The pukes say he's a liar. The pukes say he didn't deserve to be a hero. I dunnomuchaboudim."

Great. So that's where John Kerry starts. Perhaps the campaign can air an ad during Sunday's football games when many Bushler supporters sit on their couches, hypnotized by their violent fantasies... Cut to commercial:

The Democratic nominee looks the camera in the eye and demonstrates his mental, physical and spiritual superiority over the unelected psychopathic imbecile.

First Kerry says:

You have no idea how angry it makes me to hear my honor questioned. My opponents and their supporters have spent millions of dollars to smear my name -- my good name. And I won't take that kind of lip from ANYBODY! You see, I'm a man of my WORD. And I SWORE to protect and defend my country from all enemies, foreign and domestic.

When George BUSH and Richard CHENEY were doing everything they could to stay OUT of Vietnam -- a war they supported as long as THEY didn't have to fight it -- I was fighting for my country. On the front lines. So were many of my friends -- too many who never came home from that war.

So, when I got home from Vietnam, I resigned my commission and did what I thought was right. I worked to end that war as soon as possible. Why? Because every human being matters and I didn't want one single more American to die if I could help it.

Today we have a similar situation. We have two men who have led the country into a war of their CHOOSING. A war they have no intention of fighting themselves, but they want to continue as long as THEY think necessary.

No matter the evidence. Osama bin Laden had nothing to do with Iraq. No matter how many Americans die fighting their war. There were no WMDs in Iraq. No matter how wrong they are in their tactics. There aren't enough personnel to ensure security. No matter how faulty their strategy. There aren't many allies standing with us. Still, they want to continue their reckless course.

That's wrong. And that's wrong-headed leadership.

Wars are not won by someone who sits in a soft leather chair and sends someone else's kids to fight and die in it. Peace is not achieved by stating so in a photo-op on an aircraft carrier.

Wars and peace are won by something totally lacking in the current leadership. Wars are won by vision and backbone and bravery and team work. The peace is won the same way.

And that's why I'm asking for your vote. America needs new leadership. Leadership that knows what they are doing and have an understanding of war and how to win them. And peace and how to achieve it.

I've been to war. I've led men in combat. I know how to win wars. I've come home to fight for peace when most of those in power said war was the only answer. Later they realized peace was the only way.

My solemn word to you: I will bring that leadership our country needs. With John Edwards as Vice President, you will have a team that fights to do what's best for America and ALL Americans -- and our nation will WIN the war. And we will WIN the peace. You have my word on that.

1. What about
"I won't have my patiotism challenged by those who could have served but chose not to" or something very similar. Kerry said those words at a recent speech.

3. Oh yeah.
That's exactly what it needs -- some serious tweaking. And that expression would help drive home the differences between the DEMs and the puking wastrels.

Thanks, mourningdove92! Any more suggestions would be much appreciated.

2. yes. a little anger is called for
I remember when Reagan got pissed at Bush's old man in '80 during a debate and yelled out about how he paid for the microphone and he was going to damn well speak.

The masses loved it.

4. In 1988, Poppy ambushed Dan Rather...
... Dan was going to hammer George Herbert Walker Crook over Iran-Contra. Bush knew what was coming and instead laid the wood on Dan. The public lapped it up. The masses love power. It must be a mammalian Fear Thing.

The old NAZI's tactic didn't work on me. Poppy's still a traitor and a wimp.

7. Outstanding idea, Octofish!
I'd send it over to the Kerry site.

One thing they should consider....a suggestion box on their site. I'm sure they'd get plenty of bizarre and hateful suggestions, but a gem like this ought to get consideration....particularly during a football game.

9. One of the nails in his re-election coffin, interestingly enough, was...
...the MTV interview with Tabitha Soren aboard "The Bush Train." She asked him about his "agenda for young people" (knowing damn well he didn't have one), and he very unconvincingly nodded his head and half-heartedly talked, in vague terms, about his programs for the young. Soren tried to cut him off and he gave her a royal scolding...treated her worse than a child...and things were never the same for him again.

So the public will go for Reagan's microphone and Pappy's Rather slapping, but these things have to be timed with precision and a President lashing out at a young woman is only going to appeal to the lowest common denominator (and yeah, I know that accounts for a large portion of Bush's "base"...but not the undecideds.)

Kerry, on the other hand, needs to throw the fear of God into Bush simply by acting like a MAN, and not a man who thinks that confronting him with everything he's got is somehow "inappropriate."

15. The Turning Point.
Thanks for the great reminder, Bush_Eats_Beef! I'd forgotten Poppy's condescending response to a legitimate questioner. The event demonstrated his true nature toward the "fodder units" and young people are typically much wiser than the old farts give them credit for.

As in many work places across the nation, the male and female pukes in my office only respect one thing -- Force. Being good authoritarian subjects, they suck up to their bosses and dump on those on the ladder below. Kerry must show the world that he is Bush's superior -- intellectually, morally and physically. That's all the typical puke primate understands. If they see Kerry "lord it" over Bush, it's all over for the unelected psychopathic imbecile.

Today we need a similar episode as the one you described. Perhaps the debates will present such an opportunity do demonstrate that Bush is merely a monkey king. Kerry is the real thing -- best qualified to serve as the President of the United States.

5. How about he has a press conference on Monday or Tuesday.
There is going to be so much crap flying around from the Kitty Kelley book and Sy Hersch's book that the media won't be able to pick every little thing apart and make some normal thing look bad but he could have some strong statements ready to say about his service, Iraq, etc.

He can be looking strong while the Bushies will be on the defensive.

10. Great idea, Pirarte Smile!
John Kerry at a Press Conference: Our guy can look mighty Presidential, standing tall and sounding sure of himself, confident in the knowledge he can handle any question.

Meanwhile ,the Little Turd from Crawford performs his Coward from Crawford routine. Dodging anything but the most scripted softball, as if his earpiece wasn't working instead of his dyslectic cocaine-addled mini-brain.

Nice. I like, lots.

6. Wordy and long, but I appreciate the sentiment.
I dig these "what Kerry should do" posts. It shows we are thinking and I hope the Kerry people are listening.

11. Appreciate the idea and the sentiments, Droopy!
My intent is to create rhetoric that gets results. In this case, the dimwitted average murkin male is just barely breathing, let alone aware of what the Bush Transnational Crime Syndicate is up to. The rhetoric needs to hit at least a few points of commonality before proceeding to the close. But, yes! Good writing is good editing. And on DU we're one team working to ...

13. Rumsfeld and the BFEE helped ARM North Korea...
It's the same the world over. The BFEE and the Satanic elite they serve make money and attain power off war. That's why they play both sides of any conflice: India-Pakistan, Iran-Iraq, Israel-Arab states. Cash&Carry Bushes say: "In North Korea, there's plenty more where that came from..."

The two faces of Rumsfeld

2000: director of a company which wins $200m contract to sell nuclear reactors to North Korea

2002: declares North Korea a terrorist state, part of the axis of evil and a target for regime change

Donald Rumsfeld, the US defence secretary, sat on the board of a company which three years ago sold two light water nuclear reactors to North Korea - a country he now regards as part of the "axis of evil" and which has been targeted for regime change by Washington because of its efforts to build nuclear weapons.

Mr Rumsfeld was a non-executive director of ABB, a European engineering giant based in Zurich, when it won a $200m (£125m) contract to provide the design and key components for the reactors. The current defence secretary sat on the board from 1990 to 2001, earning $190,000 a year. He left to join the Bush administration.

The reactor deal was part of President Bill Clinton's policy of persuading the North Korean regime to positively engage with the west.

The sale of the nuclear technology was a high-profile contract. ABB's then chief executive, Goran Lindahl, visited North Korea in November 1999 to announce ABB's "wide-ranging, long-term cooperation agreement" with the communist government.

14. The bed-wetting bastards of the Smear Boats made ...
... it near-impossible for the campaign to utilize the Kerry-as-war-hero theme. My ditty is meant to reclaim that Truth.

Now, for the 527s:

Bush is a CROOK!
