watching the msnbc replay of election night, Sen Burr of N.C.
predicted around 5:30pm that N.C. was not in doubt that McCain would win easily and also said a high turnout in west PA. southwest OH, and in Virginia would all give McCain victories there. Gregory questioned him on this and he repeated a high turnout would mean rural America was showing up and McCain would win. Burr finished off his now 0-6 predictions saying McCain's win in N.C. would carry over to a Dole win also.

1. Gotta love perfection
The Gov of HA predicted at the beginning of September that mc cain would win Hawaii.

I realize they're supposed to put on a shiny look for their candidate, but it should be termpered with realism

7. they're sleeping at the wheels trying to tear appart
PE Obama on his cabinet appointments, but you could def do this for us as a favor. Most of us did not watch TV that day cuz we were volunteering for Obama. I took that day off from work to volunteer and GOTV for my local Obama office. I finished volunteering at 10:00 p.m. and head home because my husband was waiting for me. He didn't want to continue watching the election results alone. When i learned Obama won PA i was driving back to the obama's office from a voting precint. The news of him winning PA brought tears to my eyes. When i arrived at the office everyone was chanting, celebrating and hugging each other just because we had won PA. I guess we were all nervous about PA. It was a sign of relieve.

That night i couldn't stay with my fellow volunteers to celebrate Obama winning the election i had promised my husband we were going to be together so i headed home. When i got home to watch the results that was my first time that day watching tv.

So, I missed everything that pundits, journalists and opinion heads said that day.
