Current President MIA, Accepting ridiculous made-up Award for Peace while Dow Plunges!
Let's just move up the fucking inauguration to next week.

Bush is so useless, after fucking up in every way possible.

Is there some way we can have a quickie vote on a change of those rules
over the Internet next week-end
and get rid of the Dumbasshole once and for all?

I'm exhausted waiting for President Obama to be able to gain the reins of power,
while Nero Plays,
and Rome Burns.

1. Seriously - other countries are already looking to Obama for leadership
and could care less about what Bush things of anything - just like with what happened in India. No one really cared what Bush thought but wanted to hear what Obama had to say.

3. "Bush administration ignored clear warnings"
Bush administration ignored clear warnings
Under pressure from banking industry, U.S. government eased lending rules

WASHINGTON - The Bush administration backed off proposed crackdowns on no-money-down, interest-only mortgages years before the economy collapsed, buckling to pressure from some of the same banks that have now failed. It ignored remarkably prescient warnings that foretold the financial meltdown, according to an Associated Press review of regulatory documents.

“Expect fallout, expect foreclosures, expect horror stories,” California mortgage lender Paris Welch wrote to U.S. regulators in January 2006, about one year before the housing implosion cost her a job.

Bowing to aggressive lobbying — along with assurances from banks that the troubled mortgages were OK — regulators delayed action for nearly one year. By the time new rules were released late in 2006, the toughest of the proposed provisions were gone and the meltdown was under way.
