CNN talking head: "We've Had Enough."
"The American people don't want to hear any more about the Vietnam war. We've had enough."

What a stupid tool she is. She has NO understanding of her rightful role as a member of the press. NONE.

Is there ANY poll showing that the American people have had enough, btw? Just curious.

1. Now that Kerry has been smeared and Bush is threatened
Of course they've 'had enough' now.

9. I don't know her name..
She had a little panel of several young men, all of whom were blithering idiots. One said "It's surprising how strongly people feel about Vietnam!" as if that war were as remote as the ancient Greeks and Romans.

15. That's a network-wide talking point

Think it was Lou Dobbs who said Wednesday night after a report on the CBS TANG story that everyone had just witnessed the "final discussion of events 35 years ago on his program," or something to that effect. He's only going to focus on "current issues" now.

:puke:

7. The rethugs chose to make this the central issue in the
campaign when they decided to smear a Hero's service to our country.

Can get out of it now just by saying they don't wan to talk about it anymore. They created this monster, now they can choke on it.

16. THANK YOU.....perfect comeback for when they spew the BS about
Kerry making Vietnam the central issue of his own campaign

that's just what to say when some ahole spouts that one

now......what to say when you hear the inevitable: the Russians, the French, the Germans, the Brits ALL thought Saddam had WMDs?

I can't come up with a brief rejoinder to that; anything I can think of requires a detailed response

10. Yesterday, I talked to a friend who is independent.
She was around during Vietnam, and she's sick of hearing about it, too. She has become increasingly upset about Iraq over the past two months, and wants to know what the candidates want to do about it now. She'd also like to see the economy do better than it is. She's noticed the slowdown since spring because she's a headhunter.

The good news is that she is voting Kerry--and she lives in Virginia, a little outside the Washington metro area.

14. shes right
Lets talk about
- economy
- job outsourcing
- health care
- lies about IRaq
- 1000 dead soldiers in iraq
- higher education costs
- environment
- deficits

Lets talk about ANY RELEVANT ISSUE, because Bush has nothing to say about them. If this was about real issues, Kerry would have a 70-30 lead.

are condemned to repeat it." If this dipshit and others like her do not understand this concept, we are all condemned. Invasions based on lies have not worked out too well recently. The Soviets in Afghanistan, the U.S. in Vietnam/Iraq.

18. Look on the bright side...
If that's really the case (snort snort) then the 6.7mill that swiftliars have raised will fall on deaf ears... after all, we've had enough of that, right?

20. I'm sure if they bothered listening to Kerry they would notice
that the subject of Vietnam or Bush*'s service is not ever mentioned. What is she talking about? They are the ones doing the talking, not Kerry or his campaign.

21. I've been wondering lately exactly how many reporters CNN has.
It seem like there are very, very few actual REPORTERS and that CNN fills the time with talking heads, fluff, and cuts to local stations for breaking news.

I would love to see a number for their reporting staff.
