BWAHAHAHAHAAA...Lieberman tells MTP that the President-elect hasn't been returning his calls.

As it stands now, Lieberman seems likely to have weathered this particular storm. This past week, Senate Democrats voted to let him keep his post as chair of the Homeland Security Committee. Much of the credit, Lieberman said, goes to Obama himself, who let it be known that he wanted the Connecticut Independent to continue caucusing with the party.

But there was one hint dropped on "Meet the Press" that suggests not everything between Lieberman and the Democratic Party is pure kumbaya. Asked if he had talked with the President-elect during this process, Lieberman said he wasn't granted the audience.

"I called Senator Obama, President-elect Obama after the campaign," he said. "He's busy. I heard back from Joe Biden and Rahm Emanuel, I'm sure we will talk, and in some sense he talked to me through Harry Reid and his spokespeople."

Obamas lapdog, that is a down right despicable thing to say.

Tell Lieberman to write his Democratic Congressman. The adults are busy right now.

14. Say it ain't so Joe! The credit goes to Obama! No! LOL!
You mean the reason why Joe was given a mere slap on the wrist in due in large part to the President-elect's influence! WOW! I thought he had no control in the Senate!!

HA HAAAA!!!

(being right is superfun)

I'm leaving the space below for the knit-pickers to come along and point out that Lieberman didn't say he got to keep his chairmanship because Obama expressly said it. (Ha!)

15. Sounds like Gov Linda Lingle
of Hawai'i.."Obama hasn't called me".

Typical whining repukes..

"Senator Obama likes to say he's from Hawaii. But, the truth is, I've never met him in my life. He's never called me on the phone. Ninety-five percent of the people in my state had never heard of him before he ran for president" said Lingle."

32. Well, I don't live there now but
I tried to find out from afar and what I got was..

Lingle was the mayor of Maui and there were no Dems who had the fire in the belly to run for Gov..I'm wondering if they're sorry now?

I also heard she was thinking about running for the Senate when one of the Dans retired but after her anti Obama fiasco..that might not be so feasible now.

Until Lingle was elected Hawaii hadn't had a Republican Governor since 1974.

I hate to bring up an old analogy that I used from another thread because it is rather profane. However, it explains Lieberman's eventual demise to a tee:

Lieberman's like an aging whore who is now running out of Johns. Succinctly put, the pimp doesn't want her because she's bad for business, so he kicks her out of his fold. The only way for her to go is right into the gutter because she's not as profitable or enchanting as she once was.

Nobody wants her. She realizes that, but keeps on fighting it.

As a result, everybody thinks her coquettish displays in her declining days of solicitation are kind of pathetic. In the end, they all end up turning their backs to her despite her pleas to be noticed and adored.
