Yet another example of the brilliance of Obama

A. Naming your Treasury Secretary on the friday before Thanksgiving, market reacts strongly positive.

B. Then... rolling out your "Economic Team" on the Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday before thanksgiving. The market will likely respond positively to that as well.

C. The "panic" mood that the spending public has had over the past several days gets alleviated a bit as the markets have a good week.

D. The critical kickoff of Christmas shopping comes Friday. Consumer spending represents 70% of our national economic activity.



These little steps, which may help turn what would have been a horrendous Christmas shopping season into only merely a bad one, is another example of Obama doing JUST the right thing at JUST the right time.

2. I'd like to get my favorite niece a MP3 player

possibly a cheap one ($40 or so).

And my one grand niece a game/toy/doll (she is 3). Maybe $20. Whatever her mom says is OK.

And that's it this year... nothing for the adults. Maybe a card or some candy or home made food item (pies for everyone!).

Really, that's the limit of the spending this year.

5. Until someone shows video of the market dropping almost everytime something comes out from the Bush

admin, and going up when Obama's team makes an announcement or gives a press conference.
