1. Maybe the year after
but i wouldn't hold my breath. Cause two years is a long time to hold one's breath.

4. Exactly, please clarify. I do not think we will ever have a "normal"..
September 11 or any other day of the year. Terrorism will still exist no matter who is in office.

What we won't have is Tom Ridge scaring the pants off of everyone. Now THAT is something to look forward to.

5. One that's not politicized.
One that's not cluttered with phony "remembrances".

6. Im sorry ...

This is just plain wrong ....

MOST of the 'remembrances' are honest, heartfelt expressions of grieving family members ...

How dare you cast their legitimate grief onto the politics pile ....

There will NEVER be a 'normal' September 11th .. how absurd ...

11. I agree Trajan - I live here in NY
Ive been in the WTC countless times, worked on 'Wall St" for 14 years, saw it everyday and I had 2 friends killed in the WTC, one a firefighter and one who was only visiting for a meeting and my cousin, also a NYC firefighter was missing for 17 hours.

My expression of remembrance is a heartfelt, tear filled honest expression. And I pause for the moments of the planes and the collapses. I seem to be more shook up this year than last year.

I dont give a rats ass about political speeches by all the repugs on stage, I have it on the television to have a feeling of shared grief and remembrance with all the people who are carriyng photos, crying, and listening to the names of the dead being read.

I also dont give a rats ass if people want it foergotten and shoved into a history book, it will never ever be forgotten by me, not one second of that day or the hideous way these people died.
