Make Hillary Rodham Clinton his Secretary of State, arguably a position more powerful than even the Vice Presidency. On one hand, I'm excited. On the other hand, I have trust issues. But apparently Obama knows what the hell he's doing so I'm gonna ride with him on this one.

I think it's fair to give Obama a chance and see what happens before complaining about this pick. There were times during the election where people would be worried about his decisions, but he would always end out on top and one step ahead. So he has earned my trust in that regard. Until I can see where Clinton is being a problem as the SOS, I will have faith in his decision and wish her well.

Bill and Hillary Clinton, especially Bill. No other president and 1st lady in our history has been love by the world over as much as Bill and Hillary Clinton. And, I suspect that when Obama leaves office in 2016, the world will love him just as much and then we will really have a world that loves this country again. And just imagine that in 2016 if Hillary runs for pres and wins, we could have 16 years of Dem rule. This country would be back on track and maybe better than it ever has been.

If she is secretary of state, her future rests on the success of Obama's administration. Creating unrest from within the administration would be counter-intuitive towards that. Its in her best interests to serve in a successful Obama Administration and be an effective SoS.

The world does like her, and she is good at getting stuff done. She is not the most experienced in foreign policy, however, but she should be a good SoS.

Politically that will be impossible.

But she has presidential aspirations for 2016. However, a Democrat will have a much lower chance of being elected in 2016 if Obama's presidency is considered a failure like Bush's, not to mention that if Obama is seen as a failure then a high ranking member of his cabinet will likely not get through the primary anyways. Therefore its in her best interest to make sure Obama's presidency is as successful as possible.

That means no internal strife. That means doing a good job as SoS etc etc

I can't believe BC's Impeachment Lawyer is White House Council and had to do the negotiations with BC for the pre-clearance of BC's speeches/donors from abroad.

I can't believe that BC's top lawyer who cleared the pardon for Marc Rich will also be the lead on the team to go after the Bushes in all their squalor of the last 8 years.


I can't believe that Hillary Clinton is going to direct the Department of negotiators when she said it was naive to barter with enemies of this country.


I can't believe that Bill Clinton has submitted himself to his wife AFTER ALL THESE YEARS so that she can be the boss of his business affairs.

I voted for Obama to be Senator from Illinois.
I voted for Howard Dean in the primary after Kerry had already won the Democratic nomination.
I voted for BHO (I don't want to call anyone bo) in the primary and general election.

I trust him to make the country better overall. If he makes these strategic decisions early on that vigorously disagree with, I will wait and see what happens before I renounce and reject the results for that.
