Could it be that Obama has a Clever Plan to Neutralize Opposition?

Is it possible that Obama is picking off high profile individuals who disagree with some of his agenda and deliberately bringing them into his fold in order to remove them from the potential opposition playing field? Clinton, Holder, Lieberman, etc? If all of these people are part of his administration and committed to supporting his agenda, they won't be out there sniping or organizing against him.

Maybe, just maybe, all of the associations, appointments, and rumors of appointments that have progressives so rightfully concerned are not a harbinger of what Obama plans to do. Maybe they mean exactly the opposite?
