Joe Lieberman is a two faced weasel.
And the good thing about two faced weasels is- they'll suck up to whoever is in power.

Nobody would have voted to let him keep his chairs if they didn't think he'd vote with us.

And it's not like we can't strip him of his chairs later.

1. Obama has the upper hand in this...
He "doesn't hold any grudges" against two faced weasels who did him wrong... but I wouldn't stab him in the back a second time. I don't know if Lieberman is smart enough to know that, but I really don't care. Either he's going to go with the program, or temp fate again.

2. can't disagree with that.
sleazy thing he is, Ned Lamont was whooping his a$$ and he had to change parties, what a jerk he is.

I hope his constitutents vote him out in 2012 too far away for me.

4. Depends what you mean by "we"
Because "we", you and me, can't.

And "we" the Democratic Caucus can't until the after the mid-term election. And if Lieberman starts a Watergate-style open-ended investigation of Pres. Obama's management of DHS, any move to unseat him in 2010 would be seen as 'politically motivated'.

He probably won't seek re-election in 2012, so he essentially has nothing to fear from anyone, and as such no need to suck up to anyone.

So today he gets to switch to a one-faced weasel: one with a big special kind of grin.

5. he'll find out what it's like to get kicked to the curb after
he's used to help pass the bills Obama wants to get through initially. Lieberman's day will come when he will be isolated from everyone. What goes around...
