Poll question: Of the 3 too-close-to-call Senate races, which do you most want to win?
Edited on Wed Nov-12-08 02:32 PM by 11 Bravo
While all three Repug candidates are truly loathsome individuals, in my opinion, Saxby Chambliss is a walking, talking, breathing pile of human shit. I lack sufficient vocabulary to describe the revulsion that contemptible pig-fucker engenders in me.
Which Repug most strongly stimulates your gag reflex?

On edit: Please share your reasons.

1. Oh Lordy teammate, that's like
setting up three ice cold budweisers and telling me to pick just one. I want all three but it would be sweet seeing Al freaking Franken orating on the floor of the U. S. Senate.

16. It used to be my state but in the last
few years I am glad I don't live there anymore. Chambliss is lower than dirt.

36. No
Senators are widely seen as have far more influence. They are on a national stage whereas a governor is usually known only in their state - unless you have yourself a bona fide Terminator or pro rassler.

7. Of the three scum-bags
it's hard to choose the least scum-baggiest....

I remember the picture of Coleman holding his "purple finger" in the air to greet Bush* at a SOTU speech...

I remember Stevens' temper tantrum on the floor of the Senate over the "bridge to nowhere"....

and I remember Chambliss ads against Max....

When push comes to shove....Chambliss is the scum-baggiest-of-scum-bags....

I guess you could say he's THE CREAM OF THE CRAP!

11. Begich
As a former Alaska resident, I'd like to see the weasel, Stevens, tossed on his ass and a Begich back in Federal government.

Any one of the three would be great, though.

Stevens is never going to be seated. Chambliss is an asshole, but Norm's in my state so he gets the nod for defeat.

15. Option #4 - ALL OF THE ABOVE
Ted is a crook
Saxby is scum
Coleman is a whiner

Do we really need another crook, scum or whiner in the Senate?

27. AK found 90,000 UNCOUNTED ballots; they started counting them today.
Something stinks, but if they pan out the way Nate Silver predicts, Begich could take it since there's only a 3000 vote margin.

How he's not winning this poll is honestly beyond. He's clearly the biggest scumbag of the three.

I had to go with Coleman losing because Franken going to the Senate would throughly
piss off Billo the clown... and that would be very satisfying.

but Franken needs to take back Wellstone's seat. And I know Franken is a through and through progressive (I don't know enough about the other two Dem candidates to know their views).

the pubbies not knowing whether to run for cover or run for Ted "It's not my chair" Stevens' vacated seat when he gets tossed out on his kiester.

32. Coleman-Franken
was the first one to spring to mind as I just got done re-listening to Franken's description of the Paul Wellstone Memorial "manufactroversy" during the 2002 mid-term election.

However, the Georgia Senate race in 2002 was pretty darn despicable and might have been electronically rigged (Diebold) as well.

Actually, the entire campaign ran by the GOP in 2002 against Democrats in general was detestable, particularly their politicization over the design of the DHS, the IWR vote, and copious use of incomprehensible comparisons between Democrats like Cleland and Daschle with Saddam Hussein and Bin Laden.
