I'm all for it.
If they want to be the party of Appalachia and rural Alaska,
(call it Appal-aska), we should be cheering them on.
Palin as the face of the GOP guarantees progressive
dominance for the next 20 years.

3. I agree...BUT...
Hey, I agree--she will ensure Democratic rule for decades.

My husband even jokes around about us sending her money and holding fundraisers at our
house (gag!) for her, to make sure that she is on the Republican ticket.

So yes, I get that point.

However, I become really worried about this country, when the majority of Republicans want
that pig as their nominee. I'm sorry--after what I just read about her rallies, and that
they caused Obama more death threats, I'll call her whatever word that comes to my mind
at that moment.

I get scared that our nation is so stupid. So moronic, that they would want that vacuous,
hollow, stupid jerk to be anywhere near any elected office. She's a disgrace.

Are Americans really that stupid?

4. the GOP is stupid, yes
they elected Dubya twice so it's not surprising they love the dingbat version of him.

6. Some Freepers have advocated forming a 3rd 'Reconstruction' party
around her if the RNC keeps her down.

7. The key is to get them to think we're afraid of her running in 2012

8. Think how many that really is
If 32% of Americans now self-identify as Republicans, then 64% of them would be about 20% of total Americans.

Oddly enough, the same percentage that still love Bush...

9. She's actually not all that popular in rural Alaska
where she has a very contentious relationship with the Natives. Her power base is almost exclusively Matanuska-Susitna Valley (Wasilla) -- or as Ted Stevens' corrupt son Ben affectionately refers to them "Valley Trash."

10. It's soooo enjoyable watching the "R" party...
...rush headlong into death and /or irrelevance.

11. I don't believe in tempting fate
I don't want even the most minute possibility of that evil bimbo getting into Barack Obama's house. It's unlikely, but they might come up with new ways to steal elections by 2012.

12. I agree, but I doubt it will happen. Condi Rice has a better shot against President Obama in 2012
than Palin does.
