When Palin says "the continent versus the country"...
...it says to me she really still isn't sure. There's no 'continent' versus 'country' argument...because....there's....NO COUNTRY of Africa you stupid idiot!

She does not understand that Africa is a continent and that there are different countries in Africa... I think she's thinking of South Africa.. but that's different than Africa the continent. She's a total idiot. Seriously, all she really has to do is google the world map, and she'd learn a lot. I cannot understand how she even got to where she has as a Gov.

6. That's right...
...she apparently also thought (according to the 'cowardly' McCain people) that South Africa was just the southern part of the 'country'.

It does boggle the mind.

9. That's why I call her "aggressively ignorant"
because she defends her ignorance instead of correcting it.

10. I fear for the school children of Alaska, frankly...
What, exactly ARE they teaching, at least in the Wasilla schools?

11. That's the problem
Just like President Bush the woman has no intellectual curiosity. If I see something somewhere that I don't quite understand or want to know more about I get online and look it up or look into finding a book on the subject. When people like Palin have their lack of knowledge pointed out to them either that get defensive and stop listening or they just shrug it off as 'I'm not very good with geography' but they don't have any inclination to look further into the subject. So tutoring would have limited results in that she would only know what was taught if an interviewer went outside those parameters Palin would still be lost.

4. Wanna bet Palin also thinks that the US is the whole America's continent
After all it's hard work being the mayor and Governor of a state so she has no time learning while stealing Treasuries.

5. I think she's confused by South Africa
She's not sure if it's a whole country or part of one.

Which really isn't any better, at all.

13. It's like evolution, the jury is still out.
There are some who say Africa is really a country, and we know the map has a liberal bias.

14. She was defiantly angry about the interview questions from Couric
and Gibson, and said they were the wrong questions a few weeks later. She did badly, and she should have forgotten about it and hoped everyone else would forget too.
