Biden's looking to shed a few pounds; loves Michelle Obama
http://blogs.usatoday.com/onpolitics/2008/11/bidens-looking.html?csp=34?xid=rss-page

When USA TODAY's Kathy Kiely went down to the fitness center at her Chicago hotel this morning, there was Vice-president elect Joe Biden. She files these notes;

Biden seemed to be trying to stay incognito with a tan New Mexico baseball cap pulled low over his brow, but your correspondent outed him with a cheery "good morning senator." He said he was trying to work off 6 pounds gained during the campaign but looked fit in black sweats and a grey Army t-shirt.

The Delaware senator raved about future first lady Michelle Obama, calling her "the most impressive person I've met in 35 years."

"I like him. I LOVE her," he said of the Obamas.

Of his own future, Biden joked that he's looking forward to "my first crack at public housing."

1. First crack at public housing

LMAO, but that is kinda out there Joe...lots of people live in public housing and a lot of it is shit.

I am a MONSTER Joe Biden fan, not just his foreign policy knowledge, but he really has a great handle of a lot of little domestic issues as well, back burner stuff if you will.

That said, it's gonna be an 'interesting' 4 years with Vice President Biden...he'll pretty much say what's on his mind.

live in their house while they're gone? Inquiring minds and all that ya know...LOL.

4. For Mom & who will care for her, I'm sure there's a staff at the VP's
residence similar but much smaller than the one at the WH. I see no reason why they couldn't add a personal assistant assigned to Joe's Mom. I'm sure that's what happens when a President who has small children as well.

5. He's going try crack in a public housing complex? That doesn't sound like a good idea.

6. I knew they all gained weight on the trail! All that bad food. That is funny.
I also laughed at the Michelle comment, they seem to get along really well, that is very cute. :)
