The woman that didn't know Africa was a continent could have had nuclear codes
Edited on Thu Nov-06-08 08:50 PM by galaxy21
I mean, Jesus, think about that for a minute. There was a one in three Mccain could have kicked the bucket and she would have been president.

I know everyone likes to laugh at Palin, but it is frightening how close this woman came to being president. Nevermind 2012 either, her political career needs to end now.Seriously, no one should be encouraging Palin to run in the future. Even if we do think she'll guarantee a second Obama term.

Oh,and 55 million people were willing to take that chance because she was quite cute and was someone they could relate to. Which might just be scarier.

5. Maybe they need to be convinced to start running competent candidates
Edited on Thu Nov-06-08 08:57 PM by galaxy21
Look, I don't like guys like Romney, Guilini, Jindal or their politics...but you know, they're competent. They're smart. They're (probably) not going to get us all killed.

Palin could have brought about armageddon over a simple misunderstanding.

7. But as long as there are enough repukes to fill a booth at Denny's,
there's a chance they'll nominate Bible Spice or someone of her ilk (see under Quayle, J. Danforth).

6. Evidently she missed elementary school too.
I'm wondering who she bought her degree from. Seriously.

The Repub party seems to go out of its way to select the stupidest people it can find. (Bush, obvious; McC 5th from the bottom of his class; Gramm flunked 3 grades... they literally are idiots.)

We dodged a bullet, that's how I see it.

9. Seriously, how does one even get into one college without knowing that Africa is a continent.
Let alone six? How does one get moved on from third grade to fourth without knowing that, for that matter?

13. Yeah, and knowing how many states there are :)
All politicians gaffe at one time or another. Usually due to exhaustion.

:silly:
