1. I'd like to see Kathleen Teahan come out of retirement and take his place.
Or maybe Jass Stewart could run for Senate.

2. John Tierney. I doubt he'd run and he isn't as well known as the others, but he's
a true progressive and a terrific Rep.

4. Are there any Democrats in Massachusetts?
It seems like it would be tough to find a good one.

8. I love Markey, he is my rep, but I would prefer somebody younger. Meehan or McGovern.

11. I just cannot see Coakley going to D.C. Meehan I can see, he might be good
However for as long as I can remember we have had Kennedy and Kerry. I just moved away 1 year ago, although we just sold our house there last week :(

9. Barney Frank. BTW, I don't think Massachusetts is as blue as it used to be when
McGovern ran. and it always had too much of a tendency to elect Republican Governors. However, Bush, Romney's absentee governoshship and Palin have helped Democrats a lot recently.

12. Not as blue??!!!?!
Are you serious?!

Obama won 62-36%
Both Senators are Democrats
All of the US House Reps are Democrats

Our Governor is a Democrat
The State Senate is 35 (D) -5 (R)
The State House of Representatives is 141 (D) -19 (R)

The Republican Party has not seen a net gain in seats in 18 years.

The Republican Party in this state is completely inept.

13. Niki Tsongas
Of course, then we'd have to find a replacement for her seat :)
