Meghan McCain's dress last night...
Just saw footage and dear sweet lord on a triscut...it was awful.

To everyone attacking Michelle's dress, take a look at the monstrosity Meghan had on, and you will change your mind quick.

I am fond of the Sally Beauty Supply fake hairpiece myself. She must have borrowed it from Mommy.

SEQUINS!!! HORIZONTAL SEQUINED STRIPES!!!

Yes, this is totally innapropriate...but so is the dress!

8. Well, nothing to lose since they already lost...
Prior to losing, however, having her out there wouldn't have been consistent with his message, you know, the "real americans" message....

And, she wouldn't have been particularly safe around some of his crowds.

2. Awful dress
It's also very unflattering and matronly looking. It makes her look mid-30s, when she's just in her mid-20s.

4. The gold theme they were going for was unfortunate too...
I recall Cindy was also wearing a yellow/gold dress so I'm guessing the McCain women were supposed to be wearing gold dresses as a show of unity. It's just too bad that gold is hard to pull off.

Yeah... the sequins coupled with the gold? It's like adding extra rhinestones or boas to a Las Vegas showgirl costume. Overkill.

24. I noticed the gold theme. John's mom wore gold, too. His tie was gold.
It was a dog whistle to their base. We may have lost be we still have all the money!

5. I'm sure when she got dressed she thought she looked pretty.
Leave her alone. This kind of talk is just petty and hateful no matter who does it and who it's directed at.

and that's where the speech took place last night. Can't blame her for wanting to stay put.

21. I think Piper's got it goin on!
I liked her from the moment I saw her
spit fix her little brother's hair.

I think she's more responsible than
the rest of her family combined.

22. it makes her look fat.......
...it draws too much attention to the waistline. If she had a small waist, yes it would look better. But on her figure, it just doesn't work.

I thought Michelle's dress looked strange. But as someone who used to work with clothing, sometimes I like different styles. When I saw her walk out, at first I thought the red spots on the dress were a reflection of the lights on the dress and it took me awhile to see that it was part of the dress's design.

25. Meghan is actually very pretty, but I don't like the gold dress either. I did like Michelle's
I hate anything gold or with sequins, just a bad, bad combo. No doubt this dress also cost a fortune. Poor Bridget always seems to be the second (or third or fourth) thought.

26. The plain gold lame on Bridget is almost tasteful in comparison to
the sparkly sequined thing.
