Seems like Stevens and Young will both be re-elected. Pretty disgusting electing a convicted felon and a rep under investigation.

1. Reid said that Stevens will be refused to serve in the Senate.
An ethics and explusion proceedings will await him when Stevens return.

7. They aren't. Vermont elected Matthew Lyon convicted
under the Alien and Sedition Acts. He was actually in jail when elected.

6. We need to retract statehood.
Make them a territory again. The nepotism senate winner in 2004, Young winning (who is under investigation), Stevens the convicted felon winning, being the home state of Sarah Palin.

Alaska is a joke in politics. The polls from 3 days ago showed Steven losing by 15 points, and now he's ahead? I heard on TV that there are 45K absentee ballots, counted tomorrow, that are mostly from Republicans, so Stevens needs to be down by about 15000 before the absentees and will still win.

What the fuck? I'm guessing a GOP politician could murder someone on live TV and still win his election.

Honestly, folks, get your shit together.

12. I can't believe that they did this.
Can someone truly explain the electorate to me? Why would they knowingly elect a felon to represent them?

16. You and me both. I'd like Blue to explain what's going on.
But I am glad to hear that the lead has dwindled. That gives me a little bit of hope.
