So this woman in my county party organization asks me how much time I've put in
volunteering for Obama, and I had to get two big, hairy work projects out of the way, which gave me no time to do volunteer work or much else in the past 6 weeks (I worked through the weekends & all, taking little DU breaks when I needed to clear my head a little) and I don't want to admit how little I've done for the campaign this time, so I tell her that I've been doing my part by staying home and praying for the Rapture to come before election day, sweeping all the shithead Fundies off to the Promised Land before they have a chance to vote for Palin.

I'm usually pretty convincing, but I'm not entirely sure she believed me.
