Interesting Rumsfeld quote and commentary about it, from Tapped.
A FALSE EQUATION. The 1000th U.S. service member fatality in the Iraq War is to be announced soon. As of 3 p.m. eastern time, the AP has reported 997 deaths since the start of the Iraq war. One would think that this would be a time for mourning and recognition of the lives cut short by this war. At a press conference today, though, Donald Rumsfeld deflected a question about this grim, fast-approaching milestone to score a political point: according to the AP report, he “noted that death toll of victims of terrorism -- including the some 3,000 lost in the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks -- has far dwarfed 1,000.” What has gone wrong that the Secretary of Defense refuses to acknowledge the sacrifices of our military?

1. America

Suck it up until the military deaths hit at least 3000 maybe more.

-Don Rumsfeld ( loose translation of Sept 8 quote ).
