"....Snip

Jon Stewart/Stephen Colbert, Comedy Central: More provocateurs than pundits, the fake-news duo are soaring on the U.S. election fever: In October, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and The Colbert Report registered the highest ratings in either show's history. Both men are comedians, though clearly wise in the way of politics: Stewart has never wavered in his role of the lone liberal bobbing in a sea of mass U.S. conservatism; while Colbert remains a parody of a Republican talk-show host, the sort of personality who might be a perfect fit on Fox News. The ersatz pundits will share the anchor desk for the first time on the live special Indecision 2008: America's Choice (tomorrow, Comedy Network at 10 p.m. ET), which could turn out to be preferred viewing for many on election night. The truth is out there."
