Obama reggae strikes a global chord

(Music video at link below)

Obama-mania has gone global — with a religion-themed reggae song from his father's homeland Kenya the latest passionate endorsement of the US presidential favourite.

The slickly-produced video, obtained exclusively by ninemsn, is set to become a feature of the election countdown.

In the song, titled "Obama be thy name", singer Makadem calls on Americans to cast their vote for the Democratic candidate because he will bring positive change to the world.

Makadem invokes US civil rights hero Martin Luther King with the repeated lyric "I have a dream", also crooning "change in America" is "change in Africa, Australia, Asia, Europe, South America".

4. Impressive. Sounds like the 1960s/1970s when historians say the Civil Rights movement
sparked liberation movements in former colonies.

I'd say it is pretty interesting indeed. As Obama goes forward and does what he has to do, I pray his organizational plans just KEEP GETTING BETTER.
