PASSIVE ELECTIONEERING--PLEASE READ and pass on!
From snopes.com:

http://www.snopes.com/politics/ballot/electioneering.asp

Go to the link for full text...I can't seem to copy and paste anything from the page.

Do NOT take any chances--don't wear any political gear--shirts, buttons, stickers, anything--to vote. You could be turned away only after waiting in line for so long. Either make sure it CANNOT be seen or don't wear it at all.

Please don't take any chances. And please let others know not to do this.

3. Thanks!
(And apparently I'm kicking again, LOL.)

I'll stop, most people have probably seen it. I just would hate for Obama to lose a single vote due to someone standing in line for hours only to be turned away for passive electioneering and then not having enough time to stand in line for hours AGAIN and vote.

4. In addition to
water and snacks and chairs and umbrellas, it would be great if people who have already voted, and have some extra time, could head down to polling locations (local rules permitting) with some plain extra-large dark-colored Tshirts to lend people in case they need something to put over their overlooked Obama shirts. If someone's already dealt with parking or buses, and has waited in line a while, it'd be a shame for them to have to go home and change, and a risk they wouldn't come back.
