I just do not see how McCain has any chance in NH. What a waste of effort. The McCain campaign is completely clueless.

5. Yes, a kind of a thank you visit to the state that helped him win the primary.
If he was serious about winning he would criss crossing PA right now.

3. When? I'd actually like to see that....
.... it's our last moment to witness another "He's an A-rab" moment, or to hear the crowd boo him when he takes up for Barack.

4. It was about an hour ago. I saw a bit of it. It was pathetic.
About 100 people and nothing substantial. I think this was more of a nostalgic appearance since NH gave him a big victory in the primaries.

7. The crowd was pathetic
Worse, I'll bet that many of those who attended were trying to get Curt Schilling's autograph and could care less about McCain.

Heck, I went to a McCain event last winter for that same reason, and I have the "2004 World Champions" ball signed by #38 to show for it!

6. In a town where Obama is going to obliterate him
Peterborough is the home of former Gov. Walter Peterson. In NH parlance, a "Peterson Republican" is the same as a "Rockefeller Republican", ie, a moderate-to-liberal GOPer.

Well, Peterson's wife has been campaigning for Obama in Peterborough, and Obama had the town well-organized well over a year ago. In 2000, this would have been good turf for McCain, but with the Palinization and Schmidification of the campaign, he's going to get crushed in Peterborough, Hancock, and Sharon.
