1. Hah! I actually picked one up when I was helping door-to-door in NM. It had either blown over
or been knocked over, and I just thought WTF and put it in the back of my truck. I figured one less out there... why not? ... but haven't given in to temptation and picked up any others anywhere else.
6. There has been 1 lone McCain sign in a yard near me for almost
a year. No one has bothered it at all. Today I noticed the second of the huge, newly erected Obama signs had been stolen - the first one disappeared last week - and virtually every day all the little Obama signs are gone and have to be replaced. Republicans are a mean spirited bunch of jerks, that's for sure.
7. I just like to laugh at them. So many around these parts...
because I live in a red part of NY. I take solace in the fact that McCain will not win NY on a cold day in Hell. Therefore, it's amusing to me to see all of these hopeless McCain signs.
Some idiot had paid to make a huge inflatable "joe the plumber+ balloon+Uncle sam" 3 piece with McCain/Palin sign in the middle. Wish I had taken a pic of it, it is on I 55 just past the 294 interchange. That one's gonna change things fer sure ya betcha!
people sporting McCain/Palin yard signs are more likely to be gun toting trigger happy, raging, lunatics than Obama/Biden supporters. Especially these days.
I read a far right wing Christian website to learn how the other team thinks. Apparently, where "they" all live, no one messes with Obama signs but Obama supporters are "so" hateful that "every" McCain sign gets stolen.
I find it really odd because in my neighborhood every Obama sign has been stolen at least once and I think one McCain sign (of course their are only 5 in the entire neighborhood). St. Louis county has had a real problem with stolen Obama signs and I think it's because people in our red state are extremely pissed off at the possibility of it going blue.
