If Obama wins, when it is called . . . the WHOLE WORLD will rejoice with us.
People all over the world will be staying up late, or getting up early, to see what happens.

This is a world wide event, even though it is up to us to make it happen.

How cool is that?

I sure hope I am wrong. The republicans and corporate media do not play fair or nice. I do not think they will lose gracefully.

them down and demand that the Media do their job once the election is over. That is they need to report on all of the other news they have managed to ignore.

14. On Nov. 4, 2004, I and a friend were in Madrid watching
CNN International! It's amazing how different the coverage is from that of CNN here.

We stayed up so late--those problems with Ohio, and we were eight hours ahead. We didn't find out about the tragic outcome until we were on a plane coming back to the States.

This outcome will be different!

10. We certainly will!
As a Brit closely following the US election, I can say without doubt that my country for one will be extremely happy if, as if expected Obama becomes the 44th President of the United States. I will be staying up to watch coverage of the results. We are 5 hours ahead of US EST so if the early results indicate an Obama victory it will still be in the early hours of Wednesday for me. I don't care though, it will be more than worth it!

from all over.

Billy Bragg was here locally (Durham, NC) yesterday and played a concert for a Get Out the Vote thing and he was all into the election here in the US, following everything closely. He said: "The is a Public Service Announcement. Don't send us another arsehole please!" He was great.

My pic of him:

17. I bet he had one or two interesting comments
he has always called it how it is.

Obama would get over 80 percent of votes from Australia. The results should be called early afternoon Wednesday over here. Bottle of bubbly is already cooling down. The world will celebrate Obama's win. You all just have to make it happen. We had our moment last November when we got rid of Howard after 13 years; it is now your turn.

Peace

11. The celebration will go on for several days. The celebratory mood
will last weeks! I hope the networks and cable are setting up cameras in cities all over the world (like they do on New Year's Eve sometimes) so we can watch the wave of hope and change ripple across the planet!

If all goes as it looks like it will, Tuesday November 4, 2008 will truly be the happiest day of my life.

And Christmas 2004 SUCKED. Well not completely, I mean I didn't let things overshadow our holidays, but still they would have been a LOT nicer had Kerry won.

This Christmas? Is going to rock the house.
