How can Obama be a Muslim if he had a crazy Christian preacher for twenty years?
This is a disconnect that even Republicans might be able to detect.

For months John McCain and Sarah Palin have been trying to tell us that Barack Obama is a scary secret Muslim. Now they're reminding us that Barack Obama was a member of a Christian church for twenty years. Um.......

2. But this is simple. Even a moran can get this.
Either Obama stubbornly remained a member of a Christian church for twenty years or he did not. If he did, then how can he be a Muslim?

23. It was a knock on "creationism" ...
If republicans can reject science and believe that dinosaurs are only 10,000 years old and walked on earth with adam and eve, then they can also be led to believe any other ranom crap that doesn't make sense.

24. I understand that but it's not quite equivalent as believing two mutually opposing things.
Either Obama is a Christian or he is a Muslim. He can't be both. Yet McCain has tried to "smear" Obama, first for being Muslim, then for being Christian. This is unusually weird even for Republicans.

I know the creationism thing is weird, too. Did you know that they claim that the Colorado River could not have carved the Grand Canyon because the river is below the canyon???

8. Obama eats a pork chop can't be a Muslin

14 months ago: Democratic presidential candidate Senator Barack Obama (D-IL) eats pork chop with his family during a campaign stop at the Iowa State Fair in Des Moines, Iowa, August 16, 2007. Obama defended his foreign policy credentials on Thursday, saying Sen. Hillary Clinton and other rivals were trying to pass off entrenched Washington ways as experience.

14. Yeah, but McFailin hasn't been making a big deal out of the pork chop!
That silly bitch (yes I call her that) hasn't been shouting "Obama eats pork chops" from the rooftops. She HAS been shrieking that Obama's a Muslim. So it just looks stupid to suddenly turn around and start shrieking "Obama's a Christian!" now.

21. So he's a Christian. That would be supported by the preacher thing.
So we can lay to rest the Muslim thing, right? I don't care, personally. I just want to understand. John McCain's campaign confuses me. It makes my head hurt.

Everybody knows that logic has a built-in liberal bias. You just have to stop applying it, if you want to understand Republicants.

They are able to hold two completely contradictory thoughts in their head and believe completely in both of the at the same time. It's insane!
