Chris Matthews, at 7:45 pm est.

Yeah, me too. It's been the experience of a lifetime.

1. I said that to my wife today,
she I think we all are.

We are living history. As we step back from it, the force will hit us.

18. No shit
It's rendered me a nervous wreck. I forget what life was like before September. I don't want to live with this obsession a minute longer than necessary.

4. I am not going to miss this...
i am sick of the campaign of hate and scare by McShit, polls going up and down, and the talking heads on TV protecting McCain...it's time for Obama to be our leader and bring real change to our country and the world...enough with the campaign!

6. Me too.
Some days I try to step outside of the now, to contemplate all of this in an historical sense. I want to save this moment in time.

On the other hand...Tuesday cannot arrive soon enough.

8. Agreed.
It has been amazing. We are already discussing how we will best protect our posters and campaign literature if Obama wins. I think future generations might appreciate it.

9. Obama inspiration has only begun.
I'll miss it too. I'm rolling in it.

I don't like football, but I knew Bill Walsh, and I did watch Superbowl 16, and I did drive all around San Francisco that night with a six pack in my 1961 Rambler American. And that was one hell of an experience. This is on a whole 'nuther magnitude.

11. Chris Matthews LOVES political theater & drama
And this campaign has offered plenty of high political drama and theater, that's for sure! That's what he'll miss about it.

13. I'm in mourning.
Two more days, tomorrow!!!!

:-(

What am I going to do? I've been reloading The Page and Politico and Marc Ambinder and Balloon-Juice and Andrew Sullivan, like, every hour for a year.

and we'll be in for another glorious two years of this all over again!

21. I'm so excited at the way it turned out.
We got the best of the bunch as our nominee (and I say that as someone who was for Edwards for awhile ... Whew! Glad we dodged that one) and our nominee has performed way above and beyond my most wildly optimistic expectations. Now, he's poised to become Our President.
