17. Hi-yo!
I'm off that day--win or lose, I'm getting my snow tires put on my car and my oil changed...it was a good excuse and I only hope that I'm so jacked up on adrenaline I have to get my dad to drive.

Figured we'd be up late either celebrating (or sobbing inconsolably) but probably celebrating.

21. I forgot about that...
It's more than just one group of people though...

I think half the country is going to be off. Nothing's going to get done at my work :)

Might take the GDP down a notch when it's all said and done

20. Taking the 4th off
to work as an election judge, and taking the 5th off to recover and get my car serviced.

First, change I can believe in. Then, an oil change.

22. I wondered whether I was the only one
... my immediate boss is of like mind, but I have two events election night - one for each side, family obligations, etc. - and there's just no way I could go in the next day, whatever happens

I'm hoping for a nice, glow-y fall day of peaceful contemplation, rather than an ulcer-y, hungover afternoon of heavy heart and hopes
