I absolutely can't stand Rachael Maddow.

I find her voice irritating, her manner frustrating, her topics enraging, her worry debasing, her hair condescending, and her oeuvre befouling. I believe that she is single-handedly destroying my enjoyment of television, Obama's chances of victory, and the very foundations of American democracy, liberalism in general, and in fact all manner of post-Enlightenment thought. She is a pox, a pustule, and a piss-drinker of the lowest order. I hate everything about her.

Why, I hate her so much, I find myself utterly and completely compelled to tune in every single night, watch her with rapt attention, and then fire up DU and comment on every single utterance that escapes her lips. No, though it kills me, I shall not miss a minute of her show, for doing so would rob me of that which I treasure above all else in this life: the opportunity to explain, in excruciating detail, exactly what I do not like about her.

I do not care how many OPs I must make, how many identical threads I must participate in, nor how many hours of my life I must spend maintaining my sacred vigil. For this--this, and this alone--is my true calling. God bless America, and God bless we dedicated, Maddow-fearing few.
