I am truly and will forever be disappointed in John McCain as he stands by
and let all this evidence of naked racism go unanswered.

If he truly was a man of honor, he would do the honorable thing.

Senator McCain, have you no shame.

Will you not let anything stand in your vainglorious quest for power.

1. There was a time when he wouldn't have behaved this way...
But now, I think that his goal of the presidency has overtaken his soul, and corrupted him...

7. You're somewhat wrong
Yes, there would have been a time when he wouldn't have behaved this way, but only if it were politically advantageous for him to do so.

The goal of the presidency hasn't corrupted him - McCain has always been a complete douchebag. Just after he got caught in his douchebaggery with the Keating 5, he was more able than most politicians to turn getting caught into an advantage by pretending to become a reformer by sponsoring some toothless bills designed - supposedly - to clean up the system. He also realized the importance of sucking up to the press, and he tried to keep his temper out of the public eye. Now that his last chance to become the president is slipping further and further from his grasp, his true self is emerging.

2. Remember MLK Day
He's stood by as racism went unchecked before.

4. But he's not a man of honor. That's a myth - a carefully crafted myth.
Did you see this one?

MOST illuminating.

It's NEVER been Country First. With mcsame, it's only EVER been ME First.

5. I never liked him..
But when you strive to be president of the United States, you should be striving to be president of all the people in the United States...

6. I have never been more upset by a candidate than I am by McShame
Edited on Wed Oct-29-08 09:57 PM by yorkie
I actually said in 2000 I would not be too upset if he became President some day-that was before he morphed (tho I was a democrat from the get go)
If he had any integrity he would renounce this hate-filled campaign. It will be too late after the election-he and the she devil have whipped up much too much hatred.
