Larry King just pissed on McCain's Khalidi parade.
Larry cut into the taped segment after McCain talked his shit about the LAT tape of Obama at the Khalidi event...saying CNN's Fact Check reveals that Khalidi is not a spokesperson for the PLO and while he had a casual relationship with Obama, they disagree on US-Israeli relations. Bwhahahaha... It made McCain look like a whiny old smear merchant.

Nope.
No need. First off, McCain got all bungled up and said the tape was of an event with Obama and Ayers. Larry corrected him and then McCain strapped on tin-foil helmet and went off...all wild-eyed conspiratorial like.

McCrypt came off as the crazy uncle...at best.

9. I emailed this to CNN....so they actually have this information!

McCain has his own connection to Khalidi.

In 1993, McCain became chairman of the International Republican Institute. He still chairs that respected organization.

That same year, Khalidi helped found the Center for Palestine Research and Studies, self-described as “an independent academic research and policy analysis institution” created to meet “the need for active Palestinian scholarship on issues related to Palestine.” (Its archived Web site is HERE.)

Khalidi was on the board of trustees through 1999.

According to tax returns, the McCain-chaired IRI funded the organization Khalidi founded and served on to the tune of $448,873 in 1998 (click HERE to see the tax return)* as first reported by Seth Couter Walls at HuffPo.

The IRI continued to give money to the CPRS after Khalidi left the group as well.

Asked to respond to this seeming contradiction.....

10. All McCain's campaign can do it flail around...
and as another DUer pointed out, his negative attacks are minimally effective because a) most simply aren't believable and b) Obama is talking about the issues and McCain is not.

12. Does he realize he's getting a free hour while Obama paid for thirty minutes of air time?
It's amazing what perks McCain gets to spew his trash.

17. Not yet...
Though I must say this is some tough shit to watch.

McCrypt is not helping himself though. He's blabbering on and on in a wholly distasteful sarcastic bitter way. He knows he's losing.
