4. If these PA polls are right...

7. Just to keep Pennsylvania out of reach.
Btw, he is spending most of his time in Florida and North Carolina in the next 2 days.

8. Can't take anything to chance and McCain is making it his last stand
why make it easier for him. I can't really see how every poll shows PA with a big Obama advantage but McCain has some private campaign poll which shows him close! unless he is only polling republicans.

9. I think PA is still depending on turnout, especially in Philly and Pittsburgh.
He has to win big there, so I understand why he is still coming back.

21. That's what Ed Rendell said. He wanted to energize the base.

10. Good question.
Possibly because NO early voting in PA makes it somewhat more difficult for us than the polls suggest.

Obama needs heavy turnout in the urban areas and the Repug voter supression machine will be out in full force.

18. Never a waste of time. Just keeping it out of reach. No early voting in PA and all machines there
I think.

19. If your opponents are spending time and $ in an area, it is not wasting your own
time a $ to go there and fight. And it worked. Not that you'll hear anyone on TV say it, but at the time McCain/Palin went to PA it was a Hail Mary. No, you won't hear that because it has so obviously failed.

Maybe Rendell really IS getting Dems nervous just so they get more involved.
And maybe it's working. I haven't seen any really BAD news out of Pennsylvania yet.

6. So what the hell is all this talk about internal polls being closer?
Every PA poll I've seen has Obama with greater than a 7 point lead over McCain. The internal polling talk is confusing me.

13. It is all bs.
McCain is not going to win Pennsylvania. Rather than playing defense in red states, McCain and his lame team wanted to go on offense and picked Pennsylvania.

That plan is not working out and Obama is now campaigning in Florida and North Carolina instead.

17. This poll is unreliable...
PA is up for grabs. The election is a horserace: it is too close to call. This election will be decided by currently undecided middle-class white male voters who are worried that Barack Obama's liberal policies will unfairly raise their taxes. Also, many lukewarm Obama supporters continue to have doubts about his ability to defend America from its enemies.

I don't know guys, should I stop watching network news?;-)
