IN POLL: Obama 48 (+2), McCrypt 47 (+1)
New poll shows McCain-Obama deadlocked in Indiana

Posted: October 28, 2008
A SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A new poll shows the race between Democrat Barack Obama and Republican John McCain remains tight in Indiana about a week before the Nov. 4 election.

The South Bend Tribune/WSBT-TV poll released Tuesday found Obama supported by 48 percent of likely voters and McCain supported by 47 percent. The poll, taken Thursday through Saturday, has a margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points.

2. Obama will win Indiana for sure.
There's no way Obama will lose Indiana. It'll be close, but Obama will win Indiana without a doubt.

4. Obama will need a lead beyond the margin of error to win.
The demographics are not with him, and those who oppose him strongly are difficult to poll.

And, Pollster.com has Obama trailing:
