30. I was watching NewsMix on DTV and could NOT believe this. Fox News Had it, MSNBC was
playing Palin, CNN finally cut in, and MSNBC went to 10 mins of commercials after Palin.

UNFREAKINbelievable.

9. fairness? this is about WINNING. Palin is a liability... let them cover her 24/7
coverage of obama is no longer required.

let them cover palin. she's a LIABILITY for them.

32. I've convinced the non-stop coverage is actually the media screwing Palin over
for her snarky comments about them and her general refusal to make herself available for interviews or press conferences..

There's no way the media (outside of Morning Joe) actually thinks that repeated contact to Palin is going to swing an anti-Palin person over to her side especially since Palin turns off most moderates with her divisive ranting.

10. I know. They better cover it! Hopefully, they WILL end up playing it. The bias
is so obvious it's disgusting.

4. honestly... so what? lol
look at the polls.

look at all the coverage she's received in the last 2 months. has it helped them? :)

LET THEM KEEP COVERING HER FOR ALL I CARE.

if they started covering all the massive obama rallies, it would turn into a backlash about "messiah worpship."

16. This DOES matter
If media exposure wasn't important, candidates would not spend millions on advertising and this is like free advertising for McCain!

Viewers are exposed to McCain/Palin talking points constantly and repetitively, and comparatively little of Obama's message get's through.

15. Go figure
I guess Faux is hoping against hope that they catch Obama in a some kind of misstep. There's really no reason for them to be covering it otherwise.

21. We're witnesses to history.
It's NOT (just) the color of his skin. It IS the content of his character. I may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, but I've been in that drawer a long time ... and I've never seen a politician like him. I graduated high school the year that JFK was inaugurated. I remember him VERY well. Obama is better. It's not the oratory or the rhetoric. It's the sincerity. If he's faking it, he's faking it far, far better than anyone I remember.

I've been in the company of some impressive people ... people whose charisma and comfort were contagious. CEOs that could charm the buzzards off a gut wagon. People who could rapidly make folks comfortable in their company with an ease that, in hindsight, was stunning. Obama is a whole 'nother level. It's amazing.

23. The speech is great.
I've always said no drugs, pornography or Fox in my house, but I went and broke the rule. You know, I'm really glad Fox has it because it's their viewers who need to hear this, especially to counter the lies McCain has been telling about tax increases.
